Don Mancuso

Guitar / Vocals

Don started playing guitar at the age of six and was playing professionally by age 18 in Black Sheep. Following Black Sheep, he studied music at the College of Marin, California. When he returned to Rochester, he began playing with Cheater which gained recognition in the US with “Ten Cent Love Affair”.

Over the years Mancuso has worked with a host of  artists including: Lou Gramm, Ian Gilan and Dan McCafferty, Imaginary Few, Johnny Smoke, The Park Ave Band, Linda Rutherford & Celtic Fire, Jessi Hamilton, Regi Hendrix, and Billy Sheehan to name a few.

In 2025, Don was recognized for his work, inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame. Between gigs with Lyin’ Eyes and other local projects, Don spends time writing & recording guitar for artists worldwide and teaching a new generation how to rock!

James Richmond

Saxophone / Vocals

James “Jimmy” Richmond is the founding member of Prime Time Funk and has been the Music Director for the Rochester Hall of Fame for 10 years. He has toured with legendary Motown recording artists The 4 Tops and The Temptations. Most recently he has been hired by Disney and HBO and in the past has performed and recorded with Lou Gramm, Gene Cornish of the Rascals, Grammy winner Terrance Simien and Grammy nominee CJ Chenier. He has also composed and recorded with Chet Catallo, former member of Spyro Gyra. 

Mike Mullane

Bass / Lead Vocals

Originally from the Boston, MA area, Mike started playing around Rochester in 2010 and has become one of Western New York’s most in-demand bassists/vocalists. His current projects beyond Lying Eyes include Rochester favorites Hall Pass, international recording artists Lips Turn Blue (MIG Records) with Don Mancuso, and Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert. He regularly plays with top-notch bands from Syracuse to Toronto, including Me & The Boys, The Breakfast Club, The YachtFathers, Nerds Gone Wild, the Jade Monkeys, and more!

Fred DiCesare

Keyboards / Vocals

Fred is from Greece, NY and received his Bachelors in Music degree from Eastman School of Music in 1970. A music teacher in the Greece School District for 37 years, Fred played for numerous high school broadway shows around Monroe County over the years. He helped create the County-Wide Show Choir, and also the Roc City Singers where he is presently the accompanist/arranger for the group. In addition, he still gives lessons in piano and guitar, and over the years has led or been part of several church worship teams, currently at Jubilee Christian Church in Brockport. Fred has performed for many events, receptions and parties with the groups Just Us, Triple Exposure, the East Rochester All Star Band, Exit 24 and currently Lyin’ Eyes.

Dave Drum

Drums / Vocals

Dave Drum ( yes, he’s heard them all) is a Rochester NY based drummer. He picked up his first drum sticks at 10 years old. His initial experiences were with school concert and jazz ensembles and quickly evolved into garage jam sessions. Playing the influences of: Mitch Mitchell, Cozy Powell, John Bonham and of course Ringo Starr. Dave’s experience playing local as well as national venues, honed his skills and playing style to be one word: versatile. He performs and supports bands with wildly different music genres. To Dave the most important aspect of performing is to “play to the song”. “Be in the pocket and let the music surround me.” It’s been the key to success for years as a working drummer.

Dave Sallade

Guitar / Vocals

Dave is a self-taught musician originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Growing up he was exposed to all kinds of music, started playing guitar around 10 years old and was hooked from there.

Dave played with some notable players in Pittsburgh before moving to the Rochester area at age 18. He had a one year journey in Wyoming that proved he was ready to rock.

Dave has played in multiple bands in and around Rochester, including The Kid Kurry Band, Curfew, Gatorface and was the original guitarist for Zac Brown Tribute Band. Today, he continues his passion playing with Lyin’ Eyes, and Buddies & Pals, an acoustic group featuring fun classics!

Rich Herb

Lead Vocals / Guitar

Rich is the co-founder of the group with over 50 years of music experience. Rich has opened for the Average White Band, Randy Bachman, The Boxtops, Tommy Rowe and performed with Lou Soloff from Blood Sweat and Tears, to name a few.
